They look great and are so practical for covering and wrapping lots of things in lunch boxes and in the fridge! Easy to wash and re use! (Rose lunch pack)
I can’t find anything bad to say. They are easy to use, easy to clean, pleasing to the eye, pleasing to fussy children, smell good and above all they aren’t crappy cling film. I’ve been trying to not use cling film for a while and use baking paper instead but these wraps are soooo much better. Thank you.
I ordered this as a wee present for a friend. Service and delivery were very prompt. My friend hadn't seen beeswax wraps before and reckons it's brilliant that they can be reused. Success!
We’re on a mission to reduce plastic waste with our reusable eco-friendly beeswax food wraps. A natural alternative to plastic cling film. Better for your food and better for the environment.
"The Amount of Plastic Waste on Earth is Enough to Wrap the Whole Planet in Plastic"
Humans have created over 5 billion tons of plastic waste. The palaeontologist Jan Zalasiewicz has calculated that if it were all converted into cling film, there would be enough to wrap the globe. That’s enough plastic wrap to cover the United Kingdom over 800 times! (or Scotland 6,000)
Our plastic free mission
Wrap up your food with a breathable beeswax wrap. The beeswax mixture gives the cloth natural antibacterial properties slowing the rate of food decomposition to optimise the life and flavour of your food. Biodegradable so once finished with, cut up and compost. Cut down on single use plastic cling film with our natural beeswax cotton food wraps.
Crafter, Grafter & Wafter!
Queen Bee Wraps is a family run business established April 2018 out of a desire to not only cut down on single use plastic in their home but to also help 1000’s of other families do the same. A plastic free revolution!
Bryden is the crafter, cutting the fabric and designing the labels. Louise, the grafter, waxing the fabric and preparing the orders and John, the wafter, wafts the wraps so they cool quicker and folds the packs ready for posting. All handmade in their Cockenzie House studio in East Lothian, Scotland.
Bryden has been beekeping for over 5 years and sells local honey under the name Jacobite Apiaries.
